Fault diagnosis method

When we receive a faulty device, we will pass the four traditional methods of diagnosis(TCM): observation, listening, interrogation, and pulse-taking for finding out the problem, and diagnose the problem with the device.

TCM as below:

Observation - Observe any damaged for appearance of the device, check the image normal or not.

Listening - Any abnormal sound and smell during working situation.

Interrogation - Check the faulty detail with the user.

Pulse-taking - Disassemble and further test by repair tools to determine the exact problem.

Take an example(faulty camera head):

Firstly, we will observe any damaged with the focus lens, CCD cover and cable.And check the image is normal or not when connect with camera head.

Secondly, any abnormal sound when we using the processor and camera head, is it hight temperature with camera head?

Thirdly, in combination with the observed, check with user for any other faults.

Finally, based on the information obtained,further determine the problem for the specific fault location by repair tools.
